Image Retouching

Every image you see used in advertisement or magazine it will be subjected from some retouching or digital enhancement. Quality retouching is most important. Nowadays every image is retouched. I have seen lot of image with horribly retouched. The retouched person who changed meaning of the image. He changed not only her looks but also he changed perception of the person.

Today we can see image of the people that is not their natural look. We will remove some darkness, brighten the teeth, add some hair, color correct the skin but this is just few tasks that you ask your retouched image.

Measurement the image :

first of all you should choose necessary image from the photographer that you will use in your magazine or advertising. If you have a fashion editor he will see the imperfection in clothes or make up that need correction. After you have choose the image that you retouch so, you should list of task that need to be done the image. Everything that you corrected you should note down the point and give instructions to our retouched.

You should make a list of your instructions and send it along with the files. Your list should be like this...

1. Body
- Removing major wrinkles and smoothing the skin texture.
- Removing over shine and burned spot.
-Smooth the skin, legs and arms.
-Remove blemishes.
-Improve highlights and shadows.

2. Teeth
-Correct a whiten teeth but don't over do it.
-Correct crocked Teeth.

3. Hair
-Remove over shine from the hair.
-You should fill in the gaps in the hair.
-Remove advance hair if any.
-color choose if necessary

4. Eyebrows
-If eyebrows isn't in the shape then correct it.
-Remove stray hairs.

5. Eyes
-If necessary brighten the eye but do not extra brighten eye.
-You should check make up if necessary.
- soften under eye circles
-Remove dark circles

6. Lips
-Check lips and correct if necessary
-Check lipstick and correct this.
-Clean and even the highlights.

7. Cheeks
-It should be smooth the smile wrinkles.
-Correct the blush and get them perfect.

8. Nose
-Nose should be brightened.
-It will be perfect shape.

It seems like much work but it's not. If you want to a perfect image for your magazine so, you need corrected the image. These are standard correction that almost every image needs correcting. These corrections is not affected the person of the image and that is our main goal. You should decide what is necessary to correct and what is not correct.
